Re: SIP digital speedo in an S1 headset
As a follow-up - by changing the shims on the gear change rod and turning the Speedo slightly to match the angle of the gear change pulley I was able to fit the headset top. So it takes some fiddling but I didn't have to break out the Dremmel.

Re: SIP digital speedo in an S1 headset
I only used one shim to fit the gear change pulley and the cable alignment looks good. Looks like I need to break out the dremmel or make a spacer to fit under the speedo bezel to raise the speedo up. Not much room in these S1 headsets especially with the front brake hydraulic line running through it!

SIP digital speedo in an S1 headset
Has anyone successfully installed an SIP S1-2 digital speedo in an S1 headset without modification? The speedo body is hitting my gear change pulley and doesn't allow me to screw down the headset top.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Broken casing!!! Help.
I've been running a scoot for about 3 1/5 years, done just short of 9k miles (wish it was more :( ), with the following mods to my casing (its something was shown by Dan on here many moons ago) scoot runs Ok, I'd just tidy the damage up and refit cylinder :) http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r2/de...

Re: ld tank and li tank tap thread
I used this to modify an LD tank to accept a standard tap.

Re: series 3 TV175, smooth?
Just picked one up. 1966, all original, blue metallic, 7k miles on the clock. Smooth as silk and pulls like a train. Best "grocery getter" I own.
