Footboard and Rear Mudguard Info.

Probably an easy one for the experts but having read Sticky's section I am non the wiser. In a nutshell I have a collection of footboards from both series1 and 2. Through the Manual I can identify early, mid or late but some have a very well shaped lipped turn along the bottom edge and some simply h...

Re: Stupid Jokes

Just got this text message, not sure if it's a prank;
"Congratulations! You have won £250 of shopping vouchers or a night at an Elvis Presley tribute act. To claim your prize, press 1 for the money, 2 for the show......"

Re: SERIES ONE FRAME BREATHER(scooterotica forum bitza )

My frame number also gave it a 1959, the number is after the 'supposed' last Series 1, but it is also a framebreather. Sounds like you have a sister scoot to mine.....

TV Horn/Dipswitch

Just watched and saw item 220559764796 on fleabay......"Lambretta TV200 Light Horn Switch orig BECME Innocenti"....Is it?? According to Sticky's book this would be a TV175 switch as the lines are going the wrong way. Or is it another case of Lambretta fitting whatever was at hand at the ti...

Re: Cutting hole in panel for filter

Just a complete'off the wall' comment BUT.......... Have you not thought about buying a panel that has already been cut then having it painted to match. It seems to me that there are always panels with holes in coming up on Fleabay that don't reach the heights of unmodified ones...Keeping the origin...

Spanish Dellorto's

Not really a 'set up' question BUT.....I seem to have inherited three Spanish Dellorto's and was simply wondering where they are in the 'pecking order'. I would guess somewhere between genuine Italian and the Jetex etc.....or am I wrong? Are they any good?...opinion would be welcome.........thanks

Re: My New restoration...

Hi Rui, I guessed mine was from the Luton area but only had a tax disc as 'documentary evidence' on which to obtain the V5..... Frame and engine numbers are less than 200 apart. I think the engine is now 225 with 30mm carb on board. Compression is really good but the whole thing needs some longer te...

Re: My New restoration...

Hi Rui, Well I'm one of those people who had such a machine in the darkest past and admired the TV200 so much so that I managed to get hold of one myself some time ago. I haven't shared this on the forum previously but when I saw the reg. number on yours I thought WOW......what are the chances of th...
