Get a "reputable" garage to write a later saying it's a 125.....send the letter with the proper form (V5).....job done
I did exactly this a few years ago when re-registering a PX200 as a 125 after an engine swap. It helped that the garage had built and fitted the engine 8-)

And dumb question, can old points flywheels be used for electronic ignition? I have kicking around here. Sent fr...

Re: BGB stator output too low.

Its also worth paying particulat attention to your connections especially the earth tag on the stator itself. That tag is only rivited usually and they are often loose.

I can’t comment on the 240 version but, 2 years ago, I did 2500 miles to adria on a B8 and on a GT186.
I was running the Denso equivalent of a B8 in my GT240 on that trip

Re: Avanti Upgrade

I have already been down this route and fitted an Atomic Ultimate reed valve to my Avanti TT3 a couple or so years ago. I had to remove some finage but not too much and I cut windows in the piston and cut a 3mm D section from the bottom of the inlet side of the skirt using an old TS1 Matica piston a...

Re: LED COB Headlights (spanners manual)

I'll be interested in how you get on with the LED as heat dispersion is the reason I have stuck with the HID's I fitted to my Jet and LiS a few years ago both with Jockeys reflectors ad full DC conversions. Both have covered thousands of miles now without issue and cost a LOT less than that LED, one...

Re: Sof clear coat

Leave it to harden properly, depending on the air temperature, it could take several days. Do be aware though that 1k paint will dissolve on contact with petrol!!
