Just been thinking and how about doing an alternative logo with the saucy bird an a vespa for us followers of Mr Piaggio's finest ( coz I dont like Lammy's ) or what about both the Vespa and Lammy so as to appeal to both sects?

The oil on the back wheel may be the result of petrol in the gearbox but it usually comes out of the clutch breather and then spreads itself all over the clutch bell and then down onto the back wheel. Did you drain the gearbox oil and check it for petrol contamination?

Try pulling the choke out and see if the engine runs better which will point to the main oil seal being suspect.
