Re: Broken C2C Screen
Broke 1 side of mine off a couple of years ago so cut both sides off and fixed to headlight rim with araldite and silicone (to tidy up) and it's been fine. Looks a bit neater with no cable ties & comes off as 1 piece to change bulb etc.

Af new cylinder head
Don't know if I'm losing it but I'm sure I saw a new cylinder head from AF but can't find any info on it anywhere. Did I dream it or can anyone shed any light on this.

Thanx all, I was thinking possibly along those lines, it is 5 years old now & done 15000 miles so I guess things wear out.

There's no fuel pump it has a vacuum fed tap, which I have recently changed. Any other ideas?

Re: Scomadi Carbon 300 misfire
It's not the rev limiter, it's a proper backfire and loss of power, gonna try & swap out the rectifier see if that makes any difference. Someone has mentioned something about valves lapping? Exhaust valve closing too early but wouldn't this be controlled by the timing belt on a 4 stroke, would h...

Scomadi Carbon 300 misfire
Right firstly I'm not good with 4 strokes so I'm struggling with this. Gts 300 engine carburated, runs fine for 10 to 15 minutes but once up to temperature it starts to backfire at full throttle. I've changed the ht lead spark plug & ht cap, this seem to help but has not eradicated it completely...
