Re: Just a nice motor

Yes I've been a member on here for well over ten years and enjoyed the different threads and all the characters on here ;) but the last couple of years - its just died, why? I noticed a drop off when Dan went off to become a editor on Scootering and all the bloody annoying ads appeared. Other forums...

Cush drive spring length

Just doing a rebuild and sorting out some bits, I've got a couple of cush-drive springs and don't know if they are S3 or the shorter S1 type, can't find any measurements so I haven't got anything to compare it to. What's is the length of the later spring? cheers Paul

Re: Progressive fork springs

Yes I had the MB spring set up in my forks and just found them way too hard, they used to bounce over road imperfections and I didn't find them a very pleasant ride. Bit of a bugger to fit as well ;) I fitted the Scootopia spring set-up ( can't remember if its progressive or not) and now its a decen...

Re: Forum

I noticed a real slide in activity on this forum when the ad bombing started - I visit here occasionally but spend most of my time on the LCGB forum which ticks along ok. Went on the smallframe forum a little while ago which used to be very busy but its like a ghost town now- even the admins haven't...

Re: What ever happened to.......

Yeah the forum is a bit quiet these days and doesn't seem as fun as it used to. I'm on a few facebook groups and they can be bitch -fests and can get a bit much. The LCGB forum is still quite active but went on the Vespa Small frame forum the other day ( first time in a while) and its dead on there,...

My 1999 pre-leader ET4

Owned this beastie for nearly fives years now and despite a few hassles with starting/ immobiliser- she's been pretty decent. Great scoots out of the box and like most Vespa auto's - rust is the quickest killer but keep the engines serviced and they run like champs! ;) still can be picked up for sen...
