Hi all,
Should I use Dot 4 brake fluid on my new disc brake? I can’t seem to find any information on the best one to use. Thanks in advance Pete.

DOT 4 okay - its the standard
You could use DOT 5 which is silicon based, advantage it wont ruin paintwork in an accident.
DOT 5 doesn't mix with 3 or 4 and if you were stuck your more likely to get DOT 4 readily available.
