Hi folks
Running a new build Scootopia 186 with a 28phbh with a tea strainer filter and AF clubman. Runs fine, starts fine and plug colour fine. I’ve adjusted the mix screw in and out and settled on the best spot for pick up and returning to tickover but it still remains very lumpy. It’s fine at start up with the choke on. Any ideas most appreciated

If its ‘searching’ on tickover it might be short of fuel. Be worth putting in a bigger float valve and/ or pilot jet. What size are these now?

Check pilot jet and pilot route is not blocked.....thoroughly clean the whole carb through.
Also check your tank and petrol filter aren't full of crap

55 defo big enough pilot.
Don't bank on the carb been clean from new - when I had this it was crap in the carb and it took a couple of cleans. Tank and filter was clean

Ah right. I’ll get it off and give it a good blast through. Thanks Gaz
