putting the engine on the arm makes far more sense, drop the lot out like you would a lambretta, chain alignment etc is easier, and you have constant chain tension, I hate seeing short dumpy arms pointing downwards at a silly angle.
search Lamgiva and theres pics in there Im sure of the arm with engine mounted on it
loads more room in a lambretta, I managed to keep all bodywork etc stock, slight stretch of wheelbase for stability, but only a tiny bit,
a crosser engine was going to be my choice as they very short, but went cagiva as it was italian, oh and 125 quid I think it was for complete runnin gear package LOL
