I read that the LI150 Special Pacemaker was also available in white with metallic blue flash on the sides. Can't find the paint code anywhere when searching. Was this a dark blue metallic ? Thanks

To the best of my knowledge. Non Golden or Silver specials came to England in all white (probably new white) Dealers then applied a flash in many and various colours. So pick your own colour. That's what I have done.

My understanding as well although I think the Concessionaires did their own thing paintwise (as well as calling them "Pacemakers")

just to add to this thread for interest . Eddy Grinstead was a huge London scooter importer and dealership back in the 1960s .
I bought my first Li150 series 2 from the Gants Hill branch in 1967. It was a few years old and had been painted with several bright colours .

Eddy was probably the first importer and dealer to start selling new scoots with exciting paint jobs and he was well known for his Hippy psychedelic paint jobs in the late 60s early 70s .

I doubt that any of Eddys originals now survive but what is certain is that a great many new scoots were sold with non standard paint schemes back then and you very rarely saw any original paintwork back then as most owners added their own personalisation.

Its all very well restoring our scoots back to the original Innocenti paint codes but if I knew that mine was an Eddy Grinstead special I'd seriously consider that scheme as it would be a very rare UK example

oops !
something really screwy happened to my last post ?
After several abortive attempts to add a link using the URL button I it appears to have duplicated several passages of text instead.
Now I cannot see any edit or delete post options ?
