Hi all
Has anyone any experience from the final drive bearing developed by Jockeys?

Looks like a smart idea.

Yes I have one in my RB250 race engine. No issues so far.
Did you have to do that?

ive not seen the jockeys bearing but i have seen the new bearing being developed by rayspeed, its a sealed double bearing very much like whats fitted to front hubs on front wheel drive cars, they will be very strong.

So, was it a straight install? no removal of gear side plastic cage and such?
if, for any reason you'll need to replace the bearing, did it look removable from it's cage or the whole thing has to come out?

You don't need to remove anything from the kit supplied.

Complete gearbox strip of course.

When required you just replace the bearing by removing the cir-clip in the carrier.
Did you have to do that?

I installed it on my GT200 engine. Looked really good quality. The bearing is capsuled with oil seals and comes already greased. No need to remove seal. Just install. Top quality piece.
