Good to see that the development of the Vespa engine has commenced. Even as a die-hard Lambretta man, I was uncomfortable about the apparent Lambretta bias. I understand why this series is only starting now (time) and I look forward to reading it. There is always something to learn from any tuning article.

I have read Darrell's article bang for buck, and it is worth reading if you are planning to stroke your engine from 58 to 60mm. Darrell makes lots of good points about the effect this has on port duration.

He's a clever bloke.

However, it is time for Jordan and Dave Oakley to put their photo-without-helmets in the front of the magazine. Come on guys; don't be shy.

Im glad the mag is addressing the bias, I was probably one more issue from cancelling my subscription as the pages , although interesting, did not resonate with me as a Vespa owner.

Even now its still unbalanced if you look at the articals so hopefully more than one feature will be about Vespas in the future. It needs redressing as I wonder how many non-Lammy riders have stopped buying? :(
