This is the 70mm prototype, larger than the gt200 which I think is 66mm.

Plus Rich_T has had a lot of other big projects on this year as well as producing this new part!

Probably best for Richard to answer these questions as I've nothing to compare it to.

I'm just expecting it to be faster than my standard series 2 Li150!

GT200 in straight bolt on format is 19 with a good clubman and 24 with a good expansion. The GT240 is likely to be low 20's with clubman and high 20's with expansion. I'm expecting something like 21 or 22 with a clubman and 26-27 with expansion. There are 4 builds going on and two of those have the potential to hit the dyno very soon so the guessing will stop at that point.

To develop this kit it was not as easy as boring out a standard cylinder. There was quite a complicated tooling change to the barrel, all new machining programs (everything is different to previous kits) and the piston required some precise modifications. All in all, it was quite a mission about a year long development.

Port timings on this 70mm version are similar to the GT200 from my basic readings:
Exhaust: 182
Transfer: 134 (both sides even)
Blowdown: 23

Stator and regulator arrived from Anthony Tambs over the weekend & hopefully the last few bits should come during this week coming so my excitement level is rising. Rich_T says that of the other 3 builds of this kit he's now ridden one & is very pleased with the performance.

If my leak test goes ok it could be running before Christmas.

The 62 stroke increases the duration, this would be around the 126 mark on a standard 58 (I think!).
