Use a good quality spray gun and paint. Make sure all the panel work is prepped thoroughly and spotlessly clean. I like to heat it all up prior to top coat. You don't need much heat an hour in front of an electric heater will do. Once painted flat it all down with 2000 wet and dry and then mop polish it using a decent compound. It's all in the prep work to be honest. I was a paint sprayer many years ago so I had an idea of how to paint but in reality anyone could do just as good a job.paul d wrote:Great work! Any tips on how to get such a good paint finish?

I posted these pictures on Lambretta street racers on Facebook and a few people said I should change it or they didn't like it. As I see it there's nothing wrong with Indian GP's so why try and hide the fact it's Indian? My intention was never a faithful repo but I like the GP stripes so I fitted them. I'm happy with the look of it and I think the S badge suits it very nicely. Thanks for your positive comment mate.shocky wrote:Great job love the S badge on the horncasting refreshing change
