200 barrel, not the BGM one. Standard barrel, piston and head; jacked up a bit, skimmed and ported, no welding.
JL pipe, flatslide carb, variable ignition.
Just done for a bit of fun!
PX200 Standard Piaggio barrel - 27.75 bhp

If I'm reading that right then it must be nigh on unrideable. It has less power than a standard factory P2 until it reaches more than 6000rpm.

Have I read that right Tony? Standard thick-cast rings revving to nearly 9000 rpm? Maybe I've misunderstood?

Yes. Previous Pinasco tune rings the same.

Its likely the landscape of the graph, factory would peak circa 9 at around 6k from experience of friends who have dynoed.ArmandTanzarian wrote:If I'm reading that right then it must be nigh on unrideable. It has less power than a standard factory P2 until it reaches more than 6000rpm.
