They're decent carbs, made in Taiwan I think, but copies of Keihin. Main thing with them is to change to European sourced jets and not the ones that come from the far east.
is it a straight 30mm or a 28/30mm oval bore i run a oko 30mm this has the larger spigot of 39mm the 28/30mm has a spigot size of 35mm mine is run out of the box no changes to how it came and that includes the main jet runs well and very responsive good on fuel as well i can get around 85 miles from a tank thats not thrashing it thoughts200 wrote:has anyone tried one of these 30mm PWK carbs on a ts1?

i have used a piece of hose from a land rover for the rubber this gives me some extra clearance( 40mm at the biggest point)
my carb can be bored out if needed to 34/35mm
