Hi all, been given a practically new r1 shock (converted for lambretta) to fit to the gp, Question is A are they worth fitting
B would you have brass or rubber bushes
Open to all replies, thanks in advance Liam .

Rubber bushes arent available as far as I know but DO NOT use brass bushes as you need some flex , You can get a kit consisting of nylon bushes and nyloc half nuts. You basically only tighten them to about 3-5 ft lb's torque. This is because the R! shock cant handle sideways loads cvaused by flex in Lambretta silent blocks and haver been known to snap. Apat from that they are a good shock.
