16/47 sprockets 81 link chain doesnt fit

I have just fitted a li150 gearbox and I need to use the 47 tooth crown-wheel due to my lth clutch
I tried to fit a new iwis 81 link chain to a new bgm 16 tooth sprocket and 47 tooth crown wheel and it doesn't fit I have a used 82 link iwis that I tried with a jockeys pull down tensioner but that seams too long for my liking any suggestions would be appreciated
