Get shot of Polini ik and use an E. Never known anyone having luck using those and in the same vein the G only seems to work properly with a T5

Not off the top of my head but you don't sound miles off on the list. Probably start about 125 on the main and see where you are.

So you think it must be carb?

I think the Polini induction kit and T5 carb are issues here, both give problems. Both together are more than likely compounding things further.

I've no experience of the lml reed valve but my T5 172 runs perfect on a 120 main, 122 with sito plus and 125 or 128 with the scorpion. Maybe a smaller main jet might be worth a try.

I run a 24/24g carb with drilled air filter on my malossi 220 & no problems ;-)
Duksta if you do one adjustment at a time you'll sort it m8,
I'd Try a BE1 atomiser in for starts & if still boggy go down to the std T5 BE4 which is a lot leaner.
One step at a time with jetting m8 ok
& Remember to check your plug at various throttle positions

The BE3 one fitted is way richer m8 & what size air corrector you using ?

See the chart in this thread will help -> viewtopic.php?f=8&t=27378

I've been told that the LML reed opening is a closer match to a 20/20 (in terms of area) than anything else... so as well as any jetting issues, there may be a bottleneck at the reed for a bigger carb and higher flow venturi.
