I was referring all time to the dog tracker... if yours is working well under metal then great. I have a SPOT and it doesn't transmit under the bodywork.

Mines well tested under normal conditions.
The idea of the site I linked to is to test the tracker on a long trip which takes in some extremely remote areas.

It may or may not work... I'll find out soon :)

Found it... I set it to update every few hours when on so it's widely spaced but it does ping the satellite every ten mins.

To answer a message i recieved.. go north from point 97 that's where I started(zoom in see the balcony) down to Venice then ferry to Greece and then the route back to Croatia and blast back to Switzerland.
