Dan,

I notice that you are showing a picture desk in the list of roles and responsibilities in the front of the June edition. This is new.

What has prompted this?

Unusual, because I get the digital sub too and it's fine on my iPhone and iPad??

We've not had any complaints from other digital subscribers,is it possibly an issue with your phone/tablet?

It's an older iPad 2. Impossible to read. Both double editions crashes the app.

Oh. So is the picture desk a new appointment? Does it come with photographer role too? (I'm not after a job as a photographer).

I have long felt that Scootering lacked something in the standard of photography, especially when compared to motorcycle magazines. My thoughts on this were compounded by the recent Guardian photo-story which, whilst rather cliché in it's subject matter, did show some nicely posed photos AND some studio photos too.

I appreciate that you are still shaping your team and the publication, but is this an area that you had identified for attention?

I've just realised that we are talking at cross-purposes....i thought you meant the 'This months magazine was brought to you with the help of' panel.

What you actually mean is the fact they have named Paul and Jonathan in the 'flanel panel'.

Yes, its new that they are getting a credit in the panel, their job is basically a tech-repro role to bring image resolution up to scratch and process image files as they come in. They have worked for Mortons for years doing this across many titles.
