Not that I have any particular problem with the offer itself but why wasn't this offered around on some of the more active forums without the need to visit there?

Seeing as you asked I'd say this one and just taking examples even if not that active in some cases LCGB, VCB and maybe others that aren't UK based primarily like Modern Vespa or GSF. Admittedly you're no doubt offering this to UK residents only but you've not said that from what I can see. Lots of folk are on facebook and like it, plenty of others who aren't and don't.

We can't make commercial offers on LCGB etc....it's against their rules. And due to some FB technicality which is beyond my small brain, I'm told the offer is UK only.

This is just one promotion, on one platform. There are more in the pipeline.

We can't please everyone at the same time, but we hope to please as many people as we can, as often as we can.

Fair enough, I did think that LCGB may not allow it but I'd not imagine that most others would have a problem with it. So seeing as you're near top of the tree now at said publication I'd say putting it on a single medium isn't best practice and it won't be overly hard for you to seek out the various forums that are target audience. Certainly you're welcome over at our place to promote the mag and make offers or suchlike.
