Re: Fuel Gauge
Apologies for resurrecting an old thread, but have either of you guys that ordered the dip-type sender from asap get it up and running? I'm thinking of adding a dip-type sender and gauge to my current project, but am a little unsure about what will need doing to the fuel tank to fit the sender to it...

Re: 12V DC Conversion with Battery - Wiring help needed, ple
the ScootRS switch can be used to isolate the battery, i use one to do that on my scooter check with your meter, but iirc the red & black [not the black with the yellows] are only connected in the two "on" positions. Thanks Byron, I'll have a play with the ScootRS ignition, but it sou...

Re: 12V DC Conversion with Battery - Wiring help needed, ple
Thanks for the input so far. Looking at the wiring diagram for the ScootRS ignition, I was wondering if the red and black battery connections can be used to achieve what I want. Has anyone used these connections on a ScootRS ignition and know if the black battery output is isolated by the ignition s...

I used a battery isolator switch eg: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Car-Battery-Cut-Out-Off-Isolator-Switch-6v-12v-24v-/230628827582?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item35b28ca1be It can be hidden away somewhere out of the way, maybe toolbox, or under the seat? I have airhorns on mine and ...

I understand that by adding a battery to the DC conversion it means that the lights can remain active even if the engine stalls/cuts out (i.e. they continue to be powered by the battery), which is helpful if the engine dies on an unlit road at night and you still want to be visible. However, to stop...

Re: FibreGlassParts.com
Out of the blue the horncasting turned up in the post today!
Not sure if someone from here saw my message and had a word (if so thanks a lot ), but there was no email saying it was coming back or even a note in the packaging, but I'm just glad to have it back.

Re: Mugello Boost Port Question
Out of interest, are all the problems listed on this thread relating to the small block 186 kit, or is the small block 198 kit the same?
I'd finally decided on the Mugello 198 kit for an engine rebuild.......... until I read this thread!

FibreGlassParts.com
Hi all, Has anyone had any dealings with (or know) Karl Dack at FibreGlassParts.com or '1quackers2' on ebay? He borrowed a horncasting from me a while ago to make a mould from, but it's been a month or so since I've been able to get hold of him via email and I've started to worry I'll not see the pa...

Re: 12V DC CONVERSION - HOW TO
For those of you who'd rather leave the stator soldering to someone else, I've just noticed that Beedspeed are now offering their reworked SIL stators pre-wired for the Wassell/full DC conversion, at no extra cost :
