Rapido 225 classic, asso / vertex piston make sure barrel is honed to correct clearance. Better results can be had with inlet and exhaust work but also good straight from shelf. advantages are: Good torquey set up that will if set up correctly pull tall gearing, reborable should there be any mishaps...

That motor does pull the ratio's that daz uses! I should know because Mossy (Donny Hunters) and my self developed it! The cylinder on the motor now is not tuned timing wise but obviously has had extensive work around transfer passages. This motor has infact won the LCGB coast to coast in around 1996...

Golden eye is a genius with regards to piston rings, made some rings for a an asso piston for me about 10 years ago, they were 1.5mm type these were put on one of my stage 4 tuned cast iron barrels.
