my SX150 has an agreed value with carole nash of £8000. They didn't ask for any verification other than supplied photos of condition. i realise thats well above market value

could be several things. pour it into a clear container & let the sediment settle. check if its gritty or soft (metal or rubber seal). do you have a magnetic drain plug - if so, what's stuck to it? if it were mine i'd be taking the side casing off & having a good look inside

bear in mind as well, on a std tank you're doing 50 miles or so before you hit reserve so even a 200 mile day is probably 4 fuel stops As one of our group often says " no point having a 100 mile tank when I've got a 60 mile arse" We usually aim for around 70 miles between stops I like tha...

bear in mind as well, on a std tank you're doing 50 miles or so before you hit reserve so even a 200 mile day is probably 4 fuel stops

Could try backing off on the mix screw a touch as well, maybe quarter to half a turn leaner

How come the hot weather doesn't affect my p200 Could be his engine is marginal in ideal conditions, so any change like the hot weather immediately makes a difference. Or it could well be worn carb components 4 stroking generally means its over rich and the engine sounds like its making 2 beats for...

definitely replace it with a flanged/ k-nut & washer once it's off. the castle nut is a tw@7 to tighten, even with the correct tool
