back in the 70's my pal re-tapped his chaincase to a coarser Whitworth thread and used bolts without any problem.

Hi all, I'm currently restoring 2 S2 TV175's, my plan is to keep them standard and see how they ride. One has the uprated 21mm BS7 carb and the other has the older 21mm BS5. I've read somewhere the BS5 is prone to flooding. I've found a 19mm BS7 in my pile of odds and sods, so the question is can I ...

bit of a lottery in my experience, even the expensive ones need a bit of tlc to get to fit flush. casa are as good as any.

yes, I've been trying to get to the bottom of this too. folk tell me the Aquila was only fitted to the S1. I got 2 s2 tv175s to restore ones got a guilari and the other the Aquila. both seem original to the scooters and both are "wide backs". I've bought the casa (I think) wide back seat c...

I got an AF tool, but nothing short of surgery works on old cranks. good tip with the freezer tho
