That is not correct if it is over 40 years old so for example, early Indian SIL GP's (75/6 - 78) and API S2's etc do not require an MOT
Yes, my bad forgot how old some Indian GP’s were. Still think of them as l
‘The new ones’. I must be getting old!

Re: Building for a V5
If it’s an Italian GP frame you can apply for the registration and MOT exemption at the same time just using the frame number. You may still get an inspection though and for that it’s best to have a complete scooter. If the inspector thinks you’re putting a box of bits together instead of restoring ...

Re: CornwallScooterCentre Break-in
Just seen on FB that one of the scooters (T5) has been found and the police have fingerprints, DNA and some cctv. Let’s hope it leads to more scooters being found and a prosecution, or prosecutions!

Re: CornwallScooterCentre Break-in
Read this on Facebook Simon, 5/6 scooters gone one was a T5 millennium not sure about the others. Also a Vespa stolen from Crediton on the same night - not a good bank holiday for South West scooterists

Re: AF 5 speed boxes
I spoke to Ben at AF last week and now confident the clo5e box will be ok. Nice bloke and I wish I’d recorded the conversation, he literally downloaded a load of useful gearing information on me faster than I could write hopefully I know which of the two boxes I need.

AF 5 speed boxes
Hi folks,, Is anybody running 5 speed AF boxes with 30bhp+ engines? I’m just putting together a Casa 225 engine and looking at AF boxes as the cost of the Cyclone is going to be stretching the budget too far. I know they run them in high power race machines but after some feedback from people with t...

Re: Help!! Keep breaking reed petals in a TS1
I thought wiring muppet, but the kit has been on two engines both with BGM stator, I have resecured the flywheel earth and changed cdi, ht lead and cap. I have not redone the cdi earth (will do tomorrow) or changed plug (also tomorrow). I ran for a while with the ‘kill switch’ left out of the cdi, n...

Re: Help!! Keep breaking reed petals in a TS1
Thanks for the idea Mrnice, I think the clearance issue will be with the back bolt with the shallow head rather than the manifold itself so a longer shock may help. But, how far to go, new shock, reed block, packer, even try the LTH manifold. All hard earned pennies when there is possibly some under...

Re: Help!! Keep breaking reed petals in a TS1
Thanks I’ll give it a go at the weekend, I have spare manifold so can afford to get it wrong once
I will also be rechecking everything as don’t want to hide the real problem.
