Re: Ron Moss - Avanti TT3 - Cylinder Kit - Review & Test....

I don't have an Lth manifold to hand but are there different ones ,as Oldgit Dave seems to have fit one no problem and diesel says he can't get one to fit. I've done about 400 miles on mine ,but as yet I'm not 100% with it,could be down to jetting but not sure yet. Kev. Mmmmm..........................

Just a note to add on the spit back, as it seems it has been taken a bit out of context. I dont think the spit back is a real issue. You have to consider I have had this bike since 1972, back then to go fast you had to hack the side panel to get a big carb on (they are original innocenti panels). Th...

Re: Super Monza, is this what we've been waiting for?

......You won't get a lot of change from £2.5k for the cylinder, head, reed assy, pipe, bearings, seals, VHSH30 carb, crank, Varitronic ignition, PT pipe, together with crankcase matching and mag housing mod, but this is the top spec and as has been said, it's pretty much plug and play. Re: Ron Moss - Avanti TT3 - Cylinder Kit - Review & Test....

Did you drill the piston yourself Dave? if so could you give some details. I drilled a hole about 2/3's of the way down in line with the inlet port. I used a file to make the hole big enough and the shape of the inlet port. I knew when i had it right, for me its dictated by the point when you feel ...

I've a late LI 125 gearbox sitting in box I'm thinking of using this in my TT3 motor. A 20/21 tooth front sprocket and a 47 tooth clutch bell will give me a ratio of 4.32 / 4.21 Not decided on the exhaust yet. Anybody any experience with the LI 125 gear box. In my opinion its a good geabox. I have ...
